Miss Volunteer America continued on Thursday, and another pair of preliminary winners were crowned.
Miss South Dakota Volunteer Hillary Beecher was the winner of health and fitness.
Miss Kentucky Volunteer Noelle Thompson won the talent competition. Thompson has actually competed in Miss Tennessee Volunteer pageant the last few years before going to Kentucky and winning that state title.
There are 51 contestants in this year’s pageant – one from each of the 50 states and District of Columbia.
They are separated into three groups, and each group competes in a different competition each day – health and fitness, talent and interview.
Friday is the final night of preliminaries before the finals of the pageant on Saturday.
