Wine Down
Crown Winery (3638 East Mitchell Street in Humboldt) is back with its Wine Down concert series. Remember when booking your table reservations to also go ahead and do your pizza reservations. The pizzas time slots go fast.

Food Truck Fridays
Downtown Jackson and the West TN Farmers Market (91 New Market Street in Downtown Jackson) bring you Food Truck Fridays! Make plans to join them every Friday, May through November, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to experience local eateries at lunch to end your work week and support local businesses.
Dreamgirls
The two-weekend event that is the production of Dreamgirls at The Ned (314 East Main Street in Downtown Jackson) will begin with opening night at 7 p.m. Dreamgirls is the first show in the Ned’s 2024-2025 season, directed by Monola Patterson, choregraphed by Mona Lisa Lanier, and music directed by James Henning and Lewis Thompson, with Howard Ramsby consulting. The cast features over 30 Jackson locals who bring to life the various roles in the story, including the iconic Dreams – the trio inspired by the Supremes and originally portrayed on Broadway by Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jennifer Holliday and Loretta Devine and in the film by Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, and Anika Noni Rose. Adding to the evening is the 14-member orchestra that Henning will conduct.
AUG. 19
Grape Stomp
Crown Winery (3638 E. Mitchell Street in Humboldt) is hosting the annual Grape Stomp. A grape stomp team consists of two people competing against other teams by stomping grapes to see which team can produce the most juice in a 2-minute period. Wine prizes will be given. Each team member will also receive a souvenir Crown Winery towel to place your footprints on. Tickets are $50 for one team of two people. This ticket will get you in the gates and sign you up for one team. Gates open at 11 a.m. Grape Stomp check-in is at 2 p.m., and competition starts at 2:30. General admission tickets are $15. Tickets can be purchased at crownwinery.com.
Voices in the Vineyard
Century Farm Winery (1548 Lower Brownsville Road in Jackson) continues its summer concert series with Early Roman Kings at 7 p.m. Music starts at 7 p.m. Limited tables are available. Lawn chairs are available.
