West Jackson Baptist Church hosting second annual Christmas Village

The Christmas Village at West Jackson Baptist Church returns next weekend.

Last year was the first year the church, which is at the corner of Oil Well Road and Pleasant Plains Road in North Jackson hosted the village, which had a number of outdoor activities to enjoy and a few indoor activities as well.

The village will be in full swing Dec. 16-18.

Each evening will include live entertainment, a nativity hayride, a kids’ Christmas train, “Bethlehem Stables” petting zoo, food trucks, Christmas lights display set to music and carol singing by candlelight around the 20-foot Christmas tree in front of the church.

A new feature in the second year is the 75-foot winter tubing slide.

Admission to the village is $5 per person, which includes all activities except getting food at the food trucks.
