North, South split all-star games

Trinity Christian Academy hosted the West Tennessee High School All-Star basketball games on Saturday, June 1.

The South won the girls’ game 63-50.

They were led by Chester County’s Jariyah Williamson, who had 27 points.

South Side’s Kimora Currie finished with 12 points. South Gibson’s Natalie Lewis finished with 15 points.

Lilly Kee from Huntingdon led the North squad with 24 points.

The boys’ game saw a higher level of scoring as the North came away with a 123-82 win.

Jackson Christian’s Ridgely Ragan led the South with 15 points. A.J. Morman from Sacred Heart of Jesus and Kylan McNeal from Bolivar had 13 points apiece.

The North had a number of players reach double figures in scoring.

Halls’ Larry Coleman had 23 points, while JaMarcus Whitelow from Ripley had 20. Ace Mahaffey, from Dyersburg, had 15 points. Dyer County’s Marcus Martin and Justice Mosley each had 12 points. Ja’Marion Whitelow from Ripley had 10.
