Anna Grace Loudenbeck was crowned on Saturday night as this year’s Miss Teen Volunteer America winner.
The pageant was a three-night event at the Carl Perkins Civic Center with two nights of preliminaries on Thursday and Friday before Saturday’s finals.
Loudenbeck posted a message on the Miss Teen Volunteer America Facebook page after winning.
“Volunteer America is so much bigger than myself and I am making a vow to embody all of what our organization stands for,” Loudenbeck said. “God has placed this opportunity upon me, and now it’s my responsibility and role to fulfill it to the best of my ability.”
In her role, Loudenbeck will join those within the Volunteer organization in traveling across the nation and speaking to different groups about the organization’s S.E.R.V.E. initiative that director Allison DeMarcus instilled in the organization’s inception in 2019.“Thank you to the panel of judges for believing in my ability to take on this responsibility,” Loudenbeck’s statement concluded. “I feel like I am dreaming and waiting for someone to pinch me. While reality sets in and my year begins, with authenticity and compassion I will serve.”
