Madison Area Democratic Women (MADW) has partnered with a local, woman-managed business, Monograms and More, to offer a line of colorful T-shirts and baseball caps featuring the MADW logo. Monograms and More will donate a sizable portion of the sales proceeds to MADW, for the benefit of MADW’s Women’s Empowerment Fund and Sue Shelton White Scholarship Fund.
A variety of sizes, styles and colors are available, including tie-dye. A high-quality tumbler featuring the MADW logo also is available. All items will ship directly to the customer and are expected to arrive by Aug. 22. This is a limited-time fundraising opportunity through Aug. 1.

“We are excited to offer fun and colorful MADWomen swag that also benefits a good cause,” said MADW President Heather Fitzgerald. “The T-shirts and caps are a great addition to your wardrobe for these long West Tennessee summers.
“Best of all, the money raised will help women in our area who are striving to make a better life for themselves and their families.”
The Women’s Empowerment Fund assists local women with urgent, immediate financial needs.
Funding is determined on a case-by-case basis. The Sue Shelton White Scholarship is awarded annually to a West Tennessee woman who wants to complete her education while also managing the demands of work and family.
The mission of Madison Area Democratic Women is to support all persons who identify as women and girls in West Tennessee.
They believe that empowering women through advocacy and education strengthens the entire community. MADW is a member of the Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women. MADW meets at the downtown branch of the Jackson-Madison County Library on the first Tuesday of each month. New members are welcome.
