Contemporary oil painter Kimberly Evans announced last week the release of Sacred Geography, a collection of large-scale landscape paintings inspired by locations and themes rooted in the Old Testament.
Blending atmosphere, light, and spiritual narrative, the series reimagines moments of creation, wilderness, deliverance and promise through immersive contemporary landscape painting.
Developed as both a fine art collection and traveling exhibition, Sacred Geography invites viewers into contemplative visual environments designed to encourage reflection and connection.
The collection includes signed limited edition giclée prints and is currently available for exhibition placement in galleries, churches, universities and cultural spaces.
“Much of the work explores places not as distant history, but as living environments,” Evans said. “The landscapes become spaces of movement, uncertainty, faith and encounter.”
The exhibition is designed as a cohesive visual journey, pairing large-scale works with opportunities for artist talks, guided walkthroughs and community engagement.
The Sacred Geography collection can be viewed online at www.sacredgeography.com.
Evans is known around Madison County for her work in real estate and as the executive director of Ballet Arts.
