Laura Bonds Mills

Laura Mae Bonds Mills was born on January 17, 1939 in Bells, Tenn., to the late Willie Mae Bonds and Latham Bonds. 

A beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend gain her heavenly wings on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

She joined in marriage to the late Livingston Mills in 1972 until his passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Earnest Barron, grandson: Derrick Mann, four brothers: Charles Lee, Roger, Ruffin, Ross and one sister: Betty Ann.

She leaves behind four daughters: Audrey Bonds of Jackson, Phyllis Barron, Kim Mann and Laura Mills all of Alamo; one son: Stacey (Francine) Bonds of Mansfield, sisters: Debbie Currie of Denmark, Terry Black and Sheron Robertson both of Bells, Tennessee, Bobbie Jean Hines of Flushing, New York and Norma Bowers of New Jersey; one brother: Craig Cathey; twenty-two grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life was held on June 1 at New Macedonia Baptist Church - Fruitvale.

Burial took place at Harris Grove Cemetery Alamo, Tenn.
