JMCSS to host career fair

The Jackson Madison Co. School System is looking to hire more employees at a career fair. It will be held Tuesday, March 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Oman Arena.
The School System says they are hiring teachers, skilled maintenance, bus drivers, food service workers and more for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Jackson Madison Co. School System is the second largest employer in Jackson. Recently, updates were made to employee compensation, including bonuses for high-performing teachers.
Nine jobs are currently listed on their website, jmcss.org.
