NOTICE OF MEDON ELECTION
The Madison County Election Commission will hold a municipal election for The City of Medon on November 3, 2026 for the offices of Mayor and all four seats for Aldermen. No person shall be eligible for the office of Mayor or Alderman unless such person has resided within the city for at least one year preceding the election. The mayor and aldermen shall all be elected at large. The candidate for mayor receiving the highest number of votes shall be declared elected and the four candidates receiving the highest number of votes for alderman shall be declared elected. The qualifying deadline for these offices will be August 20, 2026 at 12:00 NOON. Qualifying petitions must be obtained from the Election Commission office located at 1981 Hollywood Dr Suite 200, Jackson, TN. The last day to register before this election will be October 5th. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. each weekday. The telephone number is 660-1796.

No person shall be eligible for the office of Mayor or Alderman unless such person has resided within the city for at least one year The filing deadline for candidates will be August 20, 2026 at 12:00 noon at the Madison County Election Commission office at 1981 Hollywood Dr, Suite 200, Jackson, TN 38305. Qualifying documents may be obtained from the Election Commission. The last day for residents of Three Way to register to vote in this municipal election will be October 5th.
