Jackson Police Department Reported Incidents

The following crimes were reported to the Jackson Police Department beginning May 30 through June 4. While some were cleared through arrests made, others are still under investigation. June 4 

Aggravated Assault: 9:25 p.m. - 200 block of Highview Street

Credit Card/Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) Fraud: Between noon on May 24 and 11 a.m. on May 27 - 100 block of Brentwood Drive

All Other Larcenies: Between midnight on May 29 and 3:40 on May 31 - 100 block of Bowling Drive

Motor Vehicle Theft: Between 11:45 a.m. and 11:57 a.m. - 220 block of N. Highland Avenue

All Other Larcenies: Between midnight on May 29 and 9:18 a.m. on May 31 - 100 block of Sand Pebble Drive

Kidnapping/Abduction: Between 10 p.m. on May 30 and 3:11 a.m. on May 31 - 100 block of Allen Avenue.

Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property: Between 1:30 a.m. and 1:43 a.m. - 400 block of E. Baltimore Street.

The JPD offers the following safety tips to help prevent Burglaries/Auto Burglaries: 

Always roll up vehicle windows and lock all doors. 

Hide your personal belongings. If you leave property visible in your vehicle, your vehicle is automatically a target.

Store items in your trunk before you arrive on-site; avoid storing items in your trunk after you park.
