Jackson Clinic-Baptist Campus celebrates opening

Baptist Hospital CEO Nancy Breeden called the partnership between her group and The Jackson Clinic “a long time coming” and something that can be beneficial to Jackson, Madison County and all of West Tennessee.

The partnership she spoke of was the one that resulted in the new hospital that was celebrated on Monday with a grand opening.

The Jackson Clinic-Baptist Campus is the new building that’s getting the finishing touches put on it near the interchange of Highland Avenue, the Highway 45 Bypass and Passmore Lane.

The hospital is on Innovation Drive, which branches off Passmore next to Wagging Tails.

Representatives of Jackson Clinic and Baptist Hospital, which is headquartered in Huntingdon, were on hand for the celebration.

Also at the celebration were representatives of Green Frog Coffee Company were on hand providing refreshments because the organization will also have a location inside the hospital.

On one side of the building will be the Baptist side in which a lot of outpatient procedures will be done. On the other end of the building will be the Jackson Clinic side where a lot of the treatment and check-ups will happen.

Green Frog will be in the middle for those working and waiting on family members’ procedures to finish up.

According to a press release from Baptist, services offered at the hospital include audiology, cardiac testing, infusion, ophthalmology, physical therapy, women’s imaging and retail pharmacy services. Surgery services will include cardiology, ear, nose and throat, general, OB-GYN, plastic, podiatry and urology for patients as young as 2 years old.

The Clinic side of the building is set to open on Tuesday, Nov. 14. The Baptist side will open on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Business hours will be 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
