Posted

The annual Blue Suede Dinner and Auction brought in over $435,000 to the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse over the weekend.

The event was co-chaired by Chris Allison and Lauren “LOLO” Pritchard Cobb.

This was the 29th Annual dinner and auction, which began as a way to pay off one of the buildings the Carl Perkins Center owns. Since then, the fundraiser has raised millions of dollars for the charity.

“We want to say a big “thank you” to everyone that came out to support and volunteered at the Blue Suede Dinner and Auction this past weekend. Also, thank you to our sponsors and to everyone that donated,” The Center said in a Facebook post, “It is because of all of you that this event was a big success, and why we can continue to help and provide services for our children.”

Entertainment for the night included a silent and live auction, including a guitar signed by Luke Combs and a vacation to Florida. The Greatest Piano Men also performed with singer LOLO.

The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse provides responsive and preventative child abuse care to 20 counties in West Tennessee. To donate, visit carlperkinscenter.org.
