The AMP at the Market
The AMP’s summer concert series continues with Bryan Moffitt performing at 7:30 p.m. at The AMP in Downtown Jackson next to the West Tennessee Farmer’s Market on Shannon Street. The concert has free admission, and food trucks are available on site.
World’s Oldest BBQ Cooking Content & Festival
The Covington Bar-B-Que Festival, home of The World’s Oldest Bar-B-Que cooking contest, is held each year in Cobb Parr Memorial Park in June. Events for this festival include a Memphis in May sanctioned Bar-B-Que cooking contest, a demolition derby, arts and crafts exhibits, a truck pull, live bands, and many other fun activities. Since its origin in 1973, the festival has grown to be the main annual attraction in Covington. Teams from all over the mid-south come to Covington to compete in this three-day event.

Rockabilly Highway Revival
The Rockabilly Highway Revival is an annual event held on the second Saturday of each June in Selmer, Tennessee.

New Nissan Stadium Insights
The Greater Jackson Chamber presents In the Huddle with Tennessee Titans’ Mike Keith and Titans executives at the JEA Training Center at 320 Highway 45 Bypass in Jackson at 11:30 a.m. Keith and other Titans officials will present different pieces of information about the stadium currently under construction. Lunch will be provided. Admission is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for future members. Go to the Chamber’s website to register.

Emerging Leaders
Join The Greater Jackson Chamber and its Emerging Leaders program for their next Emerging Leaders event. Co-hosted by United Way of West Tennessee. Come enjoy a taste of Lexington, with a small concert, pontoon boat rides, kayaking, food and more. Admission is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for future members.

Miss Volunteer America
Miss Volunteer America is a nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program based in Tennessee that seeks to empower young women across the country through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities. The third Miss Volunteer America will be crowned right here in Jackson, TN on June 22, 2024, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. Pageant week is June 16-22, with preliminary competitions held June 19-21 and the crowning on June 22.
