Here's a look at things to do in Jackson and West Tennessee in the next couple weeks.

Nov. 14

Business After Hours

This is one of The Greater Jackson Chamber’s biggest networking events, and Ferguson Enterprises (1020 Highway 45 Bypass) is this month’s host. All are invited to come in, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, make contacts and network. The event is free to attend and no advance registration is needed.

The Wagers

The YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South will host The Wagers—an evening where Casino Night meets the allure of a speakeasy. Make a bet on the Y and enjoy an unforgettable night. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and will happen at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport in one of the hangars. Tickets are available at hubcityevents.com.

Nov. 15

Clay Walker concert

Clay Walker made his name in country music in the 1990s with hits like “What’s It to You?” and “If I Could Make A Living Loving You.” Later this month, he’ll be performing in West Tennessee at Williams Auditorium (634 East Main Street in Henderson). Tickets start at $57 and are still available at williamsauditorium.com. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

Nov. 16

Veterans’ Day Parade

Join the West Tennessee Veterans’ Coalition for the 11th annual West TN Veterans’ Day Parade as those honor and celebrate those who serve our nation. Free to participate. Prize for the best decorated veteran vehicle. The parade starts at 11 a.m.

Tyler Braden concert

Artist Tyler Braden is performing on his Real Friends Tour, and it’s making a stop in Jackson at Hub City Brewing (250 W Main Street in Downtown Jackson) beginning at 7 p.m.

USJ Holiday Mart

The University School of Jackson host the annual Holiday Mart, which is the school’s largest fundraiser. This multi-day Merchandise Mart features gifts, clothing and accessories, holiday and home decorative items, and much, much more. The 2024 Holiday Mart will open with a Preview Party on Thursday, November 21, 2024. The Holiday Mart is open to the public on November 22-24, 2024. The Holiday Mart will be at the Carl Perkins Civic Center and will be open 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon until 4 p.m. on Sunday. Jimmy Fortune concert

Jimmy Fortune toured, sang and performed with the legendary Statler Brothers for 21 years. Jimmy and The Statler Brothers were inducted into the GMA (Gospel Music Association) Hall of Fame on October 29, 2007, and inducted into the CMA (Country Music Association) Hall of Fame on June 29, 2008. Jimmy, as a solo artist, was inducted into the Virginia Musical Hall of Fame in 2018. After The Statler Brothers retired on October 26, 2002, Jimmy seized the opportunity to launch a solo career to share new music with his fans. Fortune will have special guests Blake Hopper and Tennessee Tradition. Fortune will be at Williams Auditorium in Henderson at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at williamsauditorium.com and range from $39 to $59.

Jamsgiving

Hub City Brewing (250 W. Main Street in Downtown Jackson) will be the place and Thanksgiving will be the night when LOLO and a few of her friends are getting together for a concert. They will be singing all of your favorite 90’s hits that'll keep you grooving all night long. Bring your friends and let's make this Thanksgiving one to remember. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the concert starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available online at hubcityevents.com.

Pam Tillis concert

Pam Tillis, one of the most recognizable voices from 1990s country music, will be at Williams Auditorium in Henderson at 7 p.m. The daughter of Country Music Royalty, she carved her own path in music, recording hits like "Shake the Sugar Tree", "Maybe It Was Memphis" and “Mi Vida Loca". With multiple number ones and top ten singles, she's generated three CMA awards, two Grammys, and numerous nominations. Pam's soulful approach to songwriting led to acclaimed albums like “Rhinestoned,” her latest album "Looking For A Feeling" and successful ventures like 'Dos Divas' with Lorrie Morgan. Her captivating performances, whether at the Grand Ole Opry or Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, continue to enchant audiences worldwide. Holiday Hallmark Christmas Market

Holiday Hallmark Christmas Market is planned to be a festive, family-friendly shopping experience featuring a wide array of holiday items, unique specialties, and exclusive gifts. Browse through booths with local vendors offering handmade items, from seasonal decorations to crafts. Kids can enjoy temporary holiday-themed body art, while families explore a variety of fun activities, making it the perfect way to celebrate the season together. Don't miss out on the festive fun and special surprises. The event will be at 210 E. Lafayette Street in Downtown Jackson from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Small Business Saturday

Celebrate and support local businesses this Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30 in Downtown Jackson. This will be a day filled with unique finds, great deals, and community spirit as we highlight the heart of our local economy—our small businesses. Kick things off at theLOCAL shoppes with holiday decorations, pop up vendors, and food. Stop by JDDC's table for your Downtown merch pick up and receive Shop Small stickers for purchases made at theLOCAL to count x2 on your Holiday Passport. The event is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and theLOCAL is at the intersection of Lafayette and Shannon in Downtown Jackson.
