Bites & Insights

Join The Greater Jackson Chamber at 197 Auditorium Drive in Downtown Jackson for Bites and Insights, educational sessions for small businesses. Connect with fellow small business leaders who understand the challenges you face and gain valuable insights from industry experts on improving your business.

Aug. 30

Hub City Flea Market

The Hub City Flea Market is held the first weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) of each month at the Jackson Fairgrounds (800 South Highland Avenue). Various items and food/drinks are for sale at the flea market that’s open 5-8 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. 

Lunch & Learn for Special Needs Adults

Special Needs Students, their family and teachers from all of West TN are invited to enjoy a light lunch and visit with many area service providers to learn more about future steps to greater independence. Representatives from the TN Department of Disability & Aging (DDA), MHDS, St. John’s, The Charles Lea Center, SRVS, STAR Center & Easter Seals will be sharing information and answering questions. Light Lunch served 11-2. Door prizes given every 30 minutes from 11-2. All of this will happen at MHDS at 27 Conrad Drive in Jackson. For more information, contact kmcfarland@mhds.org.

Food Truck Fridays

Downtown Jackson and the West TN Farmers Market (91 New Market Street in Downtown Jackson) bring you Food Truck Fridays! Make plans to join them every Friday, May through November, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to experience local eateries at lunch to end your work week and support local businesses. 

Candlelight: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons & More

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Jackson. Get your tickets now to discover Vivaldi and more at The Ned under the gentle glow of candlelight. There will be two performances with the first one from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and the next one from 9-10 p.m. Front row is sold out, but Zone A tickets are available for $44 and Zone B are available for $29.
