Beverly Moore Bailey

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Beverly Moore Bailey, who entered her heavenly home on Monday, June 3, 2024. 

Beverly was born in Jackson,  on April 10, 1938, to her loving parents, the late Terry Henry and Elizabeth McKinney Moore.

Beverly leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be forever cherished by her surviving family: daughter, Lori Key and her husband Joey of Jackson;  son, Terry Eagan, MD, of Memphis; son, Todd Casey of Memphis; stepson, Marc Bailey of New Jersey ; stepson, Bill Bailey and wife Terri of Texas; grandchildren, James Craig Ronowski Jr, Mackenzie Key, Angel Patterson and husband James, and Lauren Bailey; as well as great granddaughter,  Savannah Patterson.

 Along with her parents, she was preceded by the love of her life, her husband, Jim Bailey in 2011.

Her beloved cat Mia followed her in death on June 3rd.

 A celebration of Life to honor Beverly will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, beginning with visitation at 12:30 p.m. followed by services at 2 p.m. at Poplar Heights Baptist Church, 1980 Hollywood Dr., Jackson, with Rev. Richard Bragg and Chaplain K.L. Mercer, Hospice Chaplain AseraCare officiating.
